The ‘Glowing You Balloons’ are two weather balloons that float over the Byward Market with projections of Ottawaians mapped onto them. These supernovas reflect the beautiful people of Ottawa into the night sky smiling, laughing and making funny faces.
Originally raised in northeast Edmonton, I left for Montreal to study film production at the Mel Hoppenhiem School of Cinema, where I also studied Photography and English. Following my degree, I began to pursue a career in post-production by taking an internship with Studio Post production facility in Edmonton and making short films. This has lead to move around and eventually to Ottawa. Over these last years, I have had the opportunity to work in many aspects of post-production, from editor to writing video description for the blind and continue to create art that addresses the use of cinema outside of a theater.
