We are aiming to have at least 150-200 people pass through our interactive art event over the course of the night. The interactive part of the night will be primarily composed of mounted large poster sized drawings that the public can physically color in with crayons. The pictures will have been previously submitted by local bands (we have paired them each with an illustrator who will help come up with the drawing in advance of the evening). In essence it is coloring book party for adults.
Some beverages and food will be provided by sponsors.
CreativeMornings Ottawa – A free, monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types. With the aim of bringing creative people from different fields together for meaningful and inspirational discussion. Almost a year old, the series has been a huge success welcoming speakers from such varied occupations as psychologists, architects, artisanal sign painters and brew masters. CreativeMornings has given the Ottawa arts community a brand new platform with which to showcase people doing creative and inspiring things, as well as a consistent and energetic opportunity to cross-pollinate and build the city’s creative community.
