Description: An installation, born of the night – a time that brings no demands, a time to feel the world in motion without needing to be part of it, a time to indulge in that for which the day leaves no time.
For me, “hype” and “night” are synonymous. All seems possible in the night, in those late night hours, or early, depending on how you see it – a time of the day that brings no demands, a time to read, to dream dreams you can remember, to feel the world in motion without needing to be a part of it, a time to indulge in that for which the day leaves no time. It is also the time when the odd, the curious, and the mundane come together to play in my head. My art installation shares with viewers my love of the night and the work it inspires.
Bio: My practice is memory and process based and explores the inherent power of memory to define our existence by colouring our perceptions of the objects we encounter, the situations we live through, and the feelings we experience.
