Untitled (It’s almost a one liner) is a collaborative artwork by Sarah Beck and Shlomi Greenspan. Their individual practices span sculpture installation, video and painting. This public project blends their interest in humor, anticipation and staging.
Beck is a Saskatchewan artist currently based in Toronto. Over the last decade she has exhibited her work, gaining recognition both nationally and internationally. She has won various awards, including the Canada Council for the Art’s Joseph S. Stauffer Prize. She represented Canada at the 2009 Jeux de la Francophonie and at the 2010 Winter Olympic Cultural Olympiad. Beck completed her MFA at OCADU in 2010.
Greenspan is an Israeli artist, currently living and working in Toronto. He studied at the Avni Institute of Art and Design in Tel Aviv and at OCADU where he received his BFA. His work has been featured in various curated exhibitions across Canada and in the United States.
