‘Inflatable Deities’ (Emily Pelstring and Jessica Mensch) was formalized in 2011 through the Residency Program at Studio XX (Montreal, Canada). Their projects create subtle disruptions in the way art audiences engage with art through a range of media.

PDA PROJECTS is a contemporary commercial art gallery located downtown on Elgin Street. PDA PROJECTS exists to be in play with the numerous curatorial practices that move contemporary art, and art communities, forward. We foster community development through exhibitions, a publication house called PDA PRESS, artist talks, and workshops. We are an art gallery that favours inclusion over exclusivity. PDA PROJECTS currently represents 5 Canadian artists, and invite other artists and curators to participate in our monthly exhibitions.
