Could you wear your paintings? Why keep them on the wall? Did you know you could use them differently? The storefront of Fabgear 64 will present art works in a challenging ways to entice you to explore your own new ways to use your works of art

After creating structured and tightly controlled works of art for many years, I started to feel constrained working on a framed canvas. I wanted a more tactile and sensual freedom of expression. I gradually explored new ways to paint in total freedom in the Abstract Expressionism way. My abstract works are the expression of my inner spiritual life. Feelings and intuition are the source of my creativity. So I ventured working on unprimed lose canvases letting the paint run freely on the canvas, penetrating it, blending harmoniously with other colours and so creating new colours and intriguing forms for me to explore further. To give the canvas more life and freedom of expression, I started treating it like a textile, leaving the edges frayed to show that the work is never quite finished. This way, the painting has the potential to grow “roots” and become part of another art form.

A jazz DJ mix soundtrack will be paired with the visual elements presented in the storefront at Fab Gear64, by DJ Zattar (http://www.mixcloud.com/zattar/).
