“Animal Bridging” is a roaming interactive performance piece which will consist of 16-24 performers in green decor encouraging the audience to participate to take a walk through a visually stunning man made tunnel.
The 13 Momentum Collective is a group of emerging artists who will participate in Nuit Blanche by creating a unique discourse in the significance of ‘wildlife crossings,’ which are alternative bypasses for animals to cross a busy highway. Using performance and sculptural aspects, the collective will use each medium’s characteristics to interact with the participants in ways that best correlates to the given concept, ‘wildlife crossings.’ Revolving around ‘wildlife crossings.’ the collective will create a man made tunnel for participants to travel through. The recurring themes in the collective’s works are green decor, LED lights, glow sticks and an enticing atmosphere to create a safe space for participants to interact with. In doing so, they are focused on an enticing journey of safely “crossing” through a visually stunning tunnel of performers.
